Amy joined the Hook Veterinary Centre in 2006 and completed her VN training at the practice, qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2008. In 2011 Amy gained her clinical coach certificate which enables her to train and assess student nurses undertaking their NVQ in veterinary nursing.
Amy has a keen interest in canine behaviour and gained a merit in her studies for an Advanced Award in Canine Friendly nursing.
Amy lives with her husband and son and their pets; Harry, a gorgeous rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, and Stanley the tortoise that Amy rescued when he was a baby.
